NewCastle specializes in financial engineering where the direct costs of raising debt and equity capital are lower, and financial structures are arranged to maximize intellectual property equity and entrepreneurial equity, for founders, and key team members in equity-participation roles.

As a European-style merchant banking house, NewCastle does not take any up-front fees for capital activities, typically participating on a senior or junior principal basis, therefore only succeeding by sharing in the long-term equity and profitability success of our clients. Please note that advisory services are not capital activities. Such services, such as corporate-engineering, financial engineering, etc., are independent of capital activities and as such are covered under separate agreements for such services, typically at below market rates.
